Workplace of the future: a platform for innovation & community.

Teri Flynn, the original guru of the future workplace, set out on a mission to define the workplace of the future for her upcoming book. For this book, Teri visited dozens of the most progressive companies and educational institutions around the globe such as IDEO, Microsoft’s experimental office project, Google, and Stanford Design School. Her mission was to identify the best practices and best design ideas to inspire the future workforce. Teri’s travels to these companies, combined with the experiences from more than 500 of her own projects, have allowed Teri to observe many different types of workspaces. These spaces were designed to support many different priorities: efficiency, creativity, collaboration, sustainability, workforce comfort, and those that were designed with pure luxury and elegance in mind. The workspaces that receive the highest rankings for the future of the workforce combine the best of several of these categories.
